The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree Program in Accounting is designed primarily for persons who seek full-time employment or promotion in current positions upon completion of the degree requirements. Students planning to transfer to four-year college and university programs in Accounting should follow a Business Administration (AS) Degree Program at SUNY Adirondack. The transfer program should be carefully planned in accordance with the recommendations of an accounting faculty advisor. Recommended high school preparation: Four years of mathematics.
