Biography

Highly motivated military veteran and full-time cybersecurity faculty at SUNY Adirondack, with expertise in threat analysis, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance. Anne holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from The College of Saint Rose. With leadership experience as a Cybersecurity intern team lead at Optiv, Anne directed risk assessments and policy development aligned with NIST frameworks. She spearheaded special projects involving cyber threat detection using the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and led a student team in applying NIST standards to insider threat cases. Her 12 years in the U.S. Army and experience in teaching deepened her commitment to securing critical assets and advancing cybersecurity education.

Hobbies and interests

In her free time, Anne loves spending time with her two boys and the rest of her family. She enjoys crocheting, playing video games and keeping things light with humor. Fun fact: Anne can probably crochet faster than she can run!
