High school students were on a project for Early College Career Academy

High school programs: College Academy

We offer College Academy programs to provide academically capable high school juniors and seniors, as well as homeschooled students at equivalent levels, an opportunity to take college-level courses.

Forge your path

We know everyone's interests and goals are different, so we offer four ways to earn college credit and explore career options while fulfilling requirements to graduate from high school.

College in the High School (CHS)

Take college-level courses in your own school. This program offers you the opportunity to earn college credits that also satisfy high school graduation requirements. Choose from a variety of SUNY Adirondack classes in your school, including art, business, English, languages, math and sciences, among others.

Campus Academy

Campus Academy is for high school and homeschooled students who wish to enroll in college courses at SUNY Adirondack on its Queensbury or Saratoga campuses, or online. You can choose courses for dual high school/college credit, or pick courses of interest that align with future career or academic goals. For homeschooled students, this program offers you the opportunity to earn a New York State High School Equivalency Diploma via the 24 College Credit Hour Pathway.

Early College Career Academy (ECCA)

Spend half-days at your high school and half-days on our campus, in programs that include Electrical Technology/Advanced Manufacturing; Information Technology: Cybersecurity and Networking; Business and Entrepreneurship; New Media (Graphic Design); and Pathways to Teaching. This program is offered in partnership with WSWHE BOCES.

Pathways to Technology (PTECH)

PTECH starts in ninth grade and gives you experiences, skills and credentials to secure rewarding careers in technology-based industries. PTECH students earn a Regents high school diploma and an associate degree in Mechatronics or Information Technology: Cybersecurity and Networking from SUNY Adirondack at no cost to your family. This program is offered in partnership with WSWHE BOCES.
