Biography
Laura Lincoln is a seasoned higher education and nonprofit professional with more than 25 years of experience in alumni engagement, university advancement and student affairs. In alumni and advancement leadership roles at SUNY Oneonta, Laura directed alumni engagement and alumni association operations, led communications and publications, supported fundraising strategy, and managed board relations and volunteer leadership. In student affairs leadership roles at Syracuse University, Laura oversaw orientation and transition programs, new student move-in, first- and second-year experience initiatives, off-campus student services and community partnerships, student conduct and crisis response, and residential life operations. Laura brings deep expertise in strategic planning, board and volunteer governance, communications, program development, assessment and fiscal management. Special projects have included leading large-scale institutional initiatives, guiding nonprofit boards through multi-year strategic planning, strengthening town–gown relationships and improving organizational effectiveness.

Hobbies and interests
Outside of work, Laura enjoys hiking and kayaking and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys crafting and entertaining, particularly hosting friends and family. A lifelong dog lover, Laura has two dogs and loves spending time with them.
