SUNY Adirondack offers a two-year Associate in Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Humanities and Social Science, with a concentration in English to assist you in transferring to a four-year SUNY school as a English major. This concentration  is useful for students who would like to continue their education to develop careers in education, journalism, writing, human relations, editing, law, publishing, public relations, advertising, and other fields. Recommended high school preparation: Four years of English, three years of social studies, two years of science and two years of math, preferably college preparatory mathematics.
