Disney Internship

The Business Division is responsible for coordinating the Walt Disney College Internship Program on campus. Disney's unique "College Program" provides students with real work and life "expEARrience" through entry-level Cast Member positions such as Attractions; Characters; Culinary Assistant; Hospitality; Lifeguarding; Merchandise; Recreation; Quick Service Food & Beverage; Transportation; and many more. You can drive one of the monorails, work in a retail shop, serve guests at one of the culinary locations, greet guests at the attractions, work front desk at one of the hotels, or if you are selected, become Tigger for a semester! The learning experience consists of the required Disney "Traditions" class. There are other courses offered by Disney while students are in the program as well as many extracurricular activities. All of these extras are free of charge and provide an excellent opportunity for the student intern to spread their wings. This program is open and available to all students and majors at SUNY Adirondack that are in good academic standing and at least 18 years old. .Presentations and interviews for the Spring semester are held in the Fall, and in the Spring, for Fall Program. There are often opportunities to apply for an extension while the student intern is in Orlando working, this typically extends the internship by 2-3 months. It requires an application and acceptance.

SUNY Adirondack is NOT responsible for the hiring of student interns but will guide interested students through the application process at www.wdwcollegeprogram.com.

This is a six credit semester-long course and students must register for BUS 285. For further information log in to www.wdwcollegeprogram.com (1).
