Community Hub

The Community Hub at SUNY Adirondack was established to identify and meet the non-academic needs of our students.

The goal of the Hub is to provide a seamless link to community and on-campus resources, while addressing the barriers that may get in the way of our students' success. We want our students to reach their educational goals at SUNY Adirondack and beyond!

The Community Hub provides confidential one-on-one support to its students. Free referral services include:

  • Securing Health insurance
  • Food assistance
  • Transportation needs
  • Counseling: family and individual
  • Drug and alcohol counseling
  • Tax preparation

Students can make an appointment via the Community Hub Referral Form located on Student Banner or email the Coordinator of Community Connections, Tara Booth, at

The Food Source is part of the Community Hub and is a place where all students can feel welcomed, comfortable, and empowered. The Food Source is a place of community, where you can get food freely, without judgment.

The Washington Hall Food Source is open by appointment only from noon to 4pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.  All requests must be completed online via the Hub request form at  Please allow one to two business days for all Hub requests.

The Residence Hall Food Source is open to students residing in our Residence Hall and no appointment is necessary.
