SUNY Adirondack Scholarships

SUNY Adirondack Foundation Scholarships

The SUNY Adirondack Foundation has over 100 scholarships to support both incoming and returning students, ranging from $100 to full tuition. Incoming students must be accepted by SUNY Adirondack, and complete the FAFSA by April 1 in order to be considered since some of the scholarships require students to demonstrate financial need.  No additional application is required.  High school students enrolled in the College Academy Program who are eligible for free or reduced lunch can receive a scholarship so that the cost of their first course is reduced to $50.  Please refer to the College Academy Registration Form on the website for more information.

Various named scholarships are established by area individuals, companies & organizations, and typically bear the name of the individual or organization that funds it annually, or in whose memory the scholarship was named. These scholarships are primarily available to students already attending SUNY Adirondack with an established GPA. The competitive review and selection takes place in the spring semester of the student's first year and generally requires a minimum 2.5 GPA in 12 completed credits at SUNY Adirondack.  All students meeting the minimum requirements will be considered automatically for a scholarship.  A supplemental application may be sent to a small number of students who are eligible for scholarships that require essays or information that is not included in their academic records.  Students will be notified of the selection in April.
