Health and Emergency Care

SUNY Adirondack is committed to student health and wellness services.

SUNY Adirondack has partnered with Glens Falls Hospital to provide a campus nurse available during select hours during the week. This GF Hospital nurse can provide consultation, referrals, health education, and first aid to students.

SUNY Adirondack has a partnership with Hudson Headwaters to help students obtain better access to healthcare services. This includes a mobile health unit that is on our campus twice per month to provide walk-up and appointment-based preventative care. For more information about the HHHN mobile health unit, go to hhhn.org/mobilehealth/. For more information on external health services through HHHN, go to hhhn.org.

Hudson Headwaters works with the college to educate students and staff about the health network's services, specialties, and its urgent care and primary care locations.

Hudson Headwaters is a not-for-profit corporation and a federally qualified health center, offering primary care health services in the northeastern region of Upstate New York, including Glens Falls and Queensbury.

In the event of a medical emergency, dial (518) 743-SAFE (7233) for campus safety, activate any emergency blue phone located on campus grounds or dial 911. Red phones located in building corridors may also be used for emergency situations.
