Health and Emergency Care

SUNY Adirondack does not maintain a health center, or employ a physician or nurse. There are many excellent physicians and dentists in the Glens Falls area who will accept new patients, and Glens Falls has an excellent hospital.

SUNY Adirondack has a partnership with Hudson Headwaters to help students obtain better access to healthcare services.  For more information on external health services through HHHN please view their website at: https://www.hhhn.org .

Hudson Headwaters works with the college to educate the school's students and staff about the health network's services, specialities and its urgent care and primary care locations.  Hudson Headwaters also provides periodic on-site seminars for current and prospective students and members of SUNY Adirondack's faculty and staff.

Hudson Headwaters is a not-for-profit corporation and a federally qualified health center, offering primary care health services in the northeastern region of Upstate New York, including Glens Falls and Queensbury.

All students purchase accident insurance through college fees.  For more information regarding the Accident Insurance Program, please visit:  www.haylor.com/college/adirondack-community-college/ .

In the event of a medical emergency, dial  "0" for the College switchboard from any campus phone, dial (518) 796-1344 for campus safety or activate any emergency blue phone located on campus grounds. Red phones located in building corridors may also be used for emergency situations.
