Student Computing Center
Located on the main level of the Scoville Learning Center in room 222, the lab has approximately 70 Windows-based computers hosting a variety of software packages used by students in all academic areas. Students are encouraged to use any of the computers to complete course assignments.
Software available in the lab includes word processing, spreadsheet, database, accounting specialized programs, textbook specific programs as well as a variety of programming languages. Hardware includes scanners and laser printing. All desktops have CD/DVD burning capabilities.
There is also a variety of software and hardware available for those with specialized learning needs such as Read and Write Gold, ZoomText, and OCR scanners.
Help Desk Technicians are always available to answer your technology questions. Computer workshops are conducted on a variety of topics throughout the semester in Scoville 121. The workshops are free to students and staff and no computer experience or sign up is necessary.
